RC Monster Truck Tower Terror

Hello....after several month offline and busy with new toy....he...he...My hero... my new baby born David Caleb Gultom, now I have a moment to fill my day to relax.. I'm doing some repair & do conversion for my RC engine MT Tower terror.25 to be RC Electric MT...

because i don't have time to clean my equip & mesh after play & bashed with my RC nor space / room too for working place and all ...he...he... so i decide to convert it to be electric RC car..so that no more oily and mesh after play and bashed @t field...

Here my RC Monster truck brought it from someone....I'm interest this MT cause it rare; simple ; in good condition and cheap..

I take my tool and separate all parts, i cleaned and grease it all..

Then i try to make a simple plate from steel for motor mounting..as you see my crap bellow..
this crap metal motor mount (ordered mill and price is Rp 75.000 for this Shi%^@$#T )make my MT looks heavy and always stuck on the bottom when do some jumps..

Then i browse and hunting @t ebay.com ...and got link for motor mount for RC boat, it seem fits to My RC MT's ... i brought it from Hongkong, This motor mount made by billet 7075, it mean strong and light weight ... :)

after that i plug MY RC MT's with motor brushless from hobbywing xerun 4274 ; Speed control 150A from Hobyyking ; and 2ea battery Traxxas Nimh 8.4V x 2 = 16.8 V to supply ESC... and radio RX/TX from Traxxas 2 Ch AM ... :)

Finally test drive for this conversion...

Several need be need attention... :(
+ Body Polycarbonate damage & wreck ....( try fix with Fiber Glued )
+ Bottom side scratch ( make skid plate from Fiber )
+ Radio Glitching ( use aluminum foil )
+ Suspension / spring Not Strong Enough for High Jumps
+ Cooling for motor Brushless ( take from PC cooling )



This Monster i prepared just for my hero, and someday we play together my hero... :)
